A total of 28 airlines offer flights to Brazil, with a
variety of routes. While most international flights arrive via Rio and
Sao Paulo, depending on where you come, there are direct flights to
Brasilia, Salvador and Recife in the northeast and to Bethlehem and
Manaus in the Amazon. Santarém is between Bethlehem and Manaus and an
hour's flight of the two cities.

services between the most Brazilian cities. Certainly a good way to see
the countryside, but the distances are great. The journey from Rio or
Sao Paulo to Bethlehem is quite interesting, but they are 3 days in a

Belém do Pará So you can take a flight of an hour's duration to
Santarém or during thês days of travel by boat Amazon River.
By Boat
In Bethlehem or Manaus, boat or aircraft are the only possibilities.
Normally the boat takes 24 hours to cover the same distance in 20
minutes by plane, but has no comparison, the journey by boat is highly
rewarding and unforgettable. Santarém is also visited by some of 26
vessels offering cruises in the Amazon cruise.
